Authors can submit their research papers relating to global insurance. This track is intended to address the issues pertaining to functioning of insurance companies in various countries. It will also deliberate role of international insurance institutes in promoting the insurance.

TRACK-2: GLOBAL INSURANCE PRACTICES Authors are invited to submit their research paper relating to principles, practices, risk management and regulations of insurance in India. This track is intended to deliberate on density, penetration, claims, underwriting, overall performance India’s insurance companies, crores-selling and mis-selling of the insurance products, banc assurance, fraudulent practices in insurance usage of CRM/SEM/HRM, marketing insurance accounting (IFRS) and implication of GST, and major challenges and prospects of insurance business in India.

Track 3: Global Life Insurance
Paper writers are invited to submit their research paper relating to life insurance. This track is intended to discuss the issue pertaining to life insurance products, premium, required documents, terms and conditions, claims, marketing, rural coverage, law& regulations and usage of information technology.

Track 4: Global General Insurance
Authors are invited to submit the research papers on general insurance. It includes, motor, health, home, marine, fire, liabilities, personnel accidents, travel, tourism, crop, re-insurance, and miscellaneous insurance etc. It also intended to discuss the issues pertaining to tariff, claims, rural coverage, law and regulation, Retirement Planning and Pension schemes and usage of information technology in general insurance.

Authors are invited to submit their paper on role of Insurance Regulatory Authority of India (IRDA) and the stake holders of insurance where insurance industry is associated with many other organisations and individuals, such as agents, brokers, ombudsman man, third party administrators, affiliate tribunals and foreign investor (FDI). Apart from these people/institutions, life and non-life insurance councils and insurance institutions can be considered which are playing pivotal role in promoting the insurance

Eminent academicians, industry experts, regulators, and policy holders are invited to discuss contemporary issues on insurance.

PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE Paper writers are invited to submit their paper writing to National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI), Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY), State/NGOS/Voluntary organizations scheme, besides new three schemes Prdhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jyothi Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APJ). It will also address the retirement planning and pension schemes.

 Authors can submit their research papers relating to global insurance. This track is intended to address the issues pertaining to functioning of insurance companies in various countries. It will also deliberate role of international insurance institutes in promoting the insurance.

 

 

Guidelines To Author: 

Submission Guidelines

  1. The first page of the article should contain the title of the paper, name (s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s) along with email address.
  2. Abstract must not exceed 500 words. The abstract should adequately highlight the key aspects or state the objectives, methodology and results/ major conclusions of analysis. The abstract should include only text.
  3. First page should contain 10 key words.
  4. Research paper should not exceed 10,000 words .
  5. Equations in the text should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals within simple brackets.
  6. All appendices should be numbered consecutively.
  7. Complete formulas and derivations should be explained in separate sheet for the information of the referees.
  8. Diagrams, tables and charts cited in the text must be serially numbered and source of the same should be mentioned clearly. All such tables and figures should be titled accurately and all titles should be placed on the top after the number.
  9. The authors are advised to follow Modern Language Association (MLA style) in referencing.
  10. Page must be margined 1 inch for all  sides. Page size should be  A4 (8.27”X11.69”), Font must be Times New Roman, Normal and is to be double spaced. For titles font size is 14, sub-title is 12 should be followed.
  11. All reference must be cited with superscript in the text and  in the reference same reference should be mentioned by using MLA style.
  12. Author must ensure that their paper is free of spelling and grammatical errors.
  13. Author should register with the journal before submitting manuscripts.
  14. Case studies should be well documented and well researched and must be realistic in its context and relevance.
  15. Before sending to the referee the Plagiarism will be checked for all selected papers before publishing.
  16. Accepted papers will be sent to the corresponding author and they should resubmit the paper within 5 working days.
  17. The publication fee is Rs 2000.
  18. All enquires related to the submission should be addressed to the Editor.
  19. Copyright of the published articles and papers would rest with the journal.
  20. Any change in the later stages will be charged.

 

Poster Presentation Guidelines

GIPO-2017 is looking forward to your participation and poster presentation at the conference during 29-31 July 2017.

Purpose of a Poster Presentation

  • Acquaint conference participants with the fundamentals of your program, project, or study quickly and easily.
  • Use text, graphs, tables, charts, and pictures to present only highlights.
  • Catch your viewers' attention.
  • Make the viewer want to learn more about your program, project, or study.

Designing an Effective Poster

Your poster should fit on a poster board that is 4 ft wide x 8 ft high (1.2 m wide x 2.4 m high). The exact poster dimensions are up to poster presenters, but it is recommended to be no larger than 4 ft wide x 5 ft high for ease of vertical viewing.

The following guidelines are recommended when organizing your poster:

  • Include the abstract title and all authors at the top.
  • Posters should be readable by viewers from up to five feet away.
  • The message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation.
  • Keep any text brief.
  • Do not use all capital letters.
  • Use graphics (i.e., charts, tables, pictures) that can be understood in one minute or less.
  • Ideas should flow from panel to panel logically.
  • Describe all parts of the project/study, including why the outcome did or did not work as expected.

    • Research Design/Program Description
    • Results/Evaluation
    • Conclusion(s)
    • Future Plans
  • The viewer should gain new knowledge or insight by visiting your poster.
  • Consider providing a handout summarizing your research, and include your contact information or be sure to have your business cards available.

Poster Hall Etiquette

  • Hang your poster during the assigned poster hanging times. Please do not use this time to preview other posters. Once you have placed your poster please exit the poster hall.
  • Stand by your poster for the duration of the poster session.
  • If you are comfortable doing so, bring handouts with contact information and/or business cards.
  • Chairs are provided only for those with special accommodation needs.

Poster Hanging/Removal Times

To ensure that all posters are hung in time for the opening of each poster session and not discarded afterward, GIPO-2017 asks that all presenters adhere to the following poster session schedule.

Best Poster Award

GIPO- 2017 jury will inspect the posters and declare  the  best Poster award, based on the Theme of poster.

 

Review Process

The editor screens all manuscripts received for publication in the journal. In some cases, the editor may return the manuscripts without any review if it is found to be inappropriate for publication in the GRWS journals. Accordingly, the message is conveyed to the author by e-mail.  Manuscripts found to be consistent with the mission and objectives of the journal are undertaken for double blind review.

Manuscripts are evaluated by referees on the following criteria.

  1. Originality and importance of core ideas
  2. Quality of treatment of the relevant existing literature
  3. Application of ideas in the existing knowledge
  4. Application of Research Methodology
  5. Own contribution to the article
  6. Advancement to the existing methods
  7. Writing quality and
  8. Implication of the research

 

After the review process is completed, the author will be informed about the decision of the reviewers by email. In case of any modification, and updating, the author has to resubmit the paper within 15 days of the notification.

 

Once the paper is accepted for publication, the first author, if Indian, isrequired to remit the processing fee of Rs 2,000/-, and, foreign, USD 100 per paper. The Second and the third authors are required to remit Rs 1000 (Indian) or USD 50 (foreigner).

 

The editor-in-chief reserves the rights to accept or refuse the publication at any stage without assigning any reasons.
